DVSN Leaps into a New Era with Two Fresh Tracks: “Excited” & “Love On You”

The dynamic R&B duo DVSN — vocalist Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85 — is back and boldly turning the page. Their latest release, a dual-single featuring “Excited” and “Love On You,” arrives via So So Def in partnership with HYBE America.

Excited” pulses with a slow-jam allure, cleverly sampling the sensual flow of Floetry’s “Say Yes.” Daley’s vocals are filled with anticipation:

“Sorry in advance if I go too hard / Show me what kinda girl you are / Need you to know you’re makin’ me / Excited.”

On the flip side, “Love On You” sways into a smooth, two-step-friendly groove where Daley promises real devotion:

“This time it’s gon’ be different / Give you what you been missin’ / I know what you want from me / You want me to love on you.”

These tracks mark DVSN’s first offerings under their new label home. The multi-album deal with So So Def/HYBE America was announced earlier this summer, signaling a bold new chapter for the duo. So So Def founder Jermaine Dupri shared:

“After working with the group on their last album and going to their shows, seeing how much their fans love them, and then when I heard they had just become free agents, I had to sign them and make DVSN my first signing at So So Def/HYBE.”

DVSN echoed the excitement on social media:

“4 Everyone that’s been wondering what’s been going on and where’s the new music… It’s otw ➗.”

With So So Def shaping the creative vision and HYBE America powering global distribution, DVSN is poised for a major new rollout. Previously signed to OVO Sound/Warner Records since 2016, the duo released four studio albums — SEPT 5TH, Morning After, A Muse In Her Feelings, and Working On My Karma. Their most recent project even featured Jermaine Dupri as executive producer, highlighting the strong synergy between DVSN and So So Def.

Now, with “Excited” and “Love On You,” DVSN invites listeners into their next phase — a refined sound, renewed energy, and bold intention. Stream both tracks now and stay tuned for what’s next from So So Def’s flagship R&B act.
